In order to install Tidio into your Wix website, it's necessary to have a paid Wix plan (any plan should work, even the Light plan) and a Tidio account. To create a Tidio account, go to our website, tidio.com, and click on the Get Started button to create a new Tidio account. You'll also need to have your domain connected, whether it's the one provided by Wix or your own custom domain.
Start by navigating to Settings > Advanced > Custom Code within your WIX dashboard:
Once there, find the Body - End section and click on Add code. There, you'll paste your manual installation custom code. You can find it by heading to Settings > Live Chat > Installation section inside your Tidio project. If you do not immediately see the code, click on the open code section link.
It's also important to ensure that your domain is connected before proceeding with this step.
After adding the code, you'll have the option to customize it by setting a name and selecting the specific pages where you want Tidio to be active.

Install Tidio to your Wix website (for plugin users)
If you created your Tidio account through the Tidio plugin on Wix before October 2024 and want access to premium plans, consider migrating to a new Tidio account via our registration page. If you currently have a Tidio subscription, remember to cancel it through Wix. Any refunds will also be handled by them.
If you had a previous setup, you will be able to transfer your existing flows by following these steps. You'll also be able to transfer your contacts and import them into the new account.
In case you prefer not to create a new account and can manage without a premium subscription, you can continue using your current account. Contact us at support@tidio.net for the installation code, which you’ll add following the same instructions above. However, note that Wix plugin accounts have limitations and, again, don’t support our premium plans.
