By default, Lyro works in English - but eleven other languages are supported as well! At the moment, Lyro can understand and respond in the following languages:
- English
- Spanish
- German
- Portuguese
- French
- Dutch
- Swedish
- Norwegian
- Slovene
- Polish
- Danish
- Italian
Lyro talks to your customers in the language of your widget by default. To ensure that Lyro assists your customers in the preferred language, add the necessary language packs in your Translations section.
The list of languages that Lyro can use (and the current default language) is visible in the Configure > General tab of your Lyro settings:
If you have more language packs added, they will be listed under your default pack as well. From there, you can also access your account's Translations section, by clicking on the multilanguage widget settings link.
If a visitor requires a language version that is not added (or simply not available in general yet), then Lyro will use the default language pack.
To learn more about adding (and editing) multiple language packs in Tidio, see this guide on the Translations section.
You do not have to update your data sources, either! It is enough to have them in just one of the supported languages, and Lyro will be able use that knowledge properly - no matter which language the visitor is using on chat.
