Tidio's integration with HubSpot allows you to streamline contact management and conversation tracking. In this article, we will guide you through the process of integrating Tidio with your HubSpot account.

How to integrate Tidio with HubSpot
Open your Tidio admin panel and navigate to the Integration section located in the left sidebar, right above Settings. Then, click on the HubSpot tile.
Create a new connection by selecting New authentication (in the gray bracket).
Next, click Create (there’s no need to provide Developer API Key yet).
An Authentication window will appear. Authenticate your connection and select the HubSpot account you want to connect with Tidio. A green bracket will indicate that your authentication with HubSpot is set up correctly.
Press Next to proceed to default property mapping options.
Click Next. If you have Custom Properties in Tidio that you want to map to HubSpot fields, you can do so in this step.
After setting up the property mapping, click Finish.
That's it! You're all set. From now on, the following actions will occur:
- Every contact created or updated in Tidio will be created or updated in HubSpot.
- Every solved conversation will be saved in HubSpot as a note assigned to a contact.
How to add and update contacts in HubSpot
Every time a new subscriber is created or updated in Tidio, we will send it to your HubSpot account. If a contact with a given email address is not found, we will create one.
If a contact already exists in your HubSpot account, then we will update it with data from Tidio.
Contact will be created or updated only with these contact properties:
- email address
- first and last name
- phone number
During a contact update, if a property does not have a value in Tidio, it will not overwrite the existing value in HubSpot.
You can create or update contacts in Tidio using the following methods:
- Through pre-chat survey
- Using chatbots to collect contact information
- Changing it manually during a conversation
Any changes made in Tidio will be automatically reflected in HubSpot. Please note that it may take up to 1 minute for changes to appear in HubSpot.
How to send chat transcripts from Tidio to HubSpot
The chat transcript is assigned to a contact in HubSpot. If there’s no existing contact, then a new contact will be created. The transcript is added as a note. To ensure you can keep track of all conversations, Tidio offers the ability to send chat transcripts to HubSpot.
There are two ways to send chat transcripts to HubSpot:
1. By pressing the Mark as solved button when your chat conversation with a visitor is finished.
2. By enabling the Auto-solve feature in the Workflow section of Settings.
