Managing your packages
Currently, Tidio offers four separate packages: Customer Service, Lyro AI Agent, Automation, and Email Marketing. Furthermore, each package allows different levels - from the most basic free version up to the most feature-rich version.
You can think of these four packages as four separate aspects of your Tidio customer service toolset; you always have access to these tools, but you decide which package to upgrade, and how much. Naturally, the free version of each package is selected by default (as your starting point), and you can upgrade whenever necessary.
You can select your upgrades according to what you need. Each package offers features that are useful for different sides of customer support, and you decide what you want to focus on the most; or get premium versions of every package, and have all the possible features at your disposal!
The Customer Service package is focused on providing efficient assistance via live chat. We offer four levels for this package:
The Free version offers the most basic functionality; you get unlimited operator seats, but a monthly limit of 50 conversations. You also get access to Tidio's ticketing system and Email Marketing tool, as well as access to all our available integrations (e.g. Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, external mailboxes, and a number of other 3rd-party apps). You can keep track of basic analytics too, including data about missed conversations and average first response time.
Tickets and conversations from social media integrations count towards the limit of the conversations.
Starter allows you 100 conversations per month, as well as the live Visitors list and the Operating Hours schedule. Of course, this is on top of the free features available with Lite.
Growth expands further by allowing from 250 to 1,000 conversations per month (the quota is selectable), advanced Analytics (including data about individual operator performance ), the Live Typing preview, Viewed Pages history for each visitor, Notes, workflow options (Automatic Chat Assignment and Automatic Chat Solving), an automated Satisfaction Survey, Canned Responses, operator Permissions, and native Shopify actions (e.g. sending Product Cards, and checking customers' carts or order history). You also get the option to purchase the No Tidio Branding add-on, if you wish to remove our logo from your chat widget.
The Tidio+ version allows you to tailor the package to your needs in detail; it includes all of the Customer Care premium features as well as the Departments feature. It also lets you add multilanguage support for your chat widget, and allows unlimited conversations. On top of that, Tidio+ allows for fully customising the chat widget according to your needs (including custom branding!), as well as direct assistance from a dedicated Customer Success Manager, to help your Tidio account reach its full potential.
Lyro AI Agent
The Lyro AI Agent package lets you take advantage of Tidio's conversational AI bot - Lyro. There are three levels available:
- Lyro AI
The Free version allows Lyro to have up to 50 conversations. This is a lifetime quota; if Lyro reaches its limit, the quota will not reset, and Lyro won't be able to have more conversations.
The Lyro AI version allows a monthly quota for Lyro conversations, which means the quota will reset on a monthly basis. The limit here is between 50 and 200 Lyro conversations, and you choose the quota that is best for you.
The Tidio+ version allows you to tailor the package to your needs: by choosing a custom monthly limit for Lyro conversations, which will suit your business' needs. On this level, we also offer a service called Lyro Connect, which allows you to add Lyro to your existing helpdesk solution - without having to change your system in general! On top of that, you get direct assistance from a dedicated Customer Success Manager who can help with optimising your setup.
The Automation package is focused on giving you more power with chatbots - the automated flows that you create in the chatbot editor, ranging from simple greeting messages, through various autoresponders, to complex FAQs. We offer three levels of Automation:
The Free version allows your chatbots to serve up to 100 unique visitors per month. You also get access to basic chatbot statistics, to see how your bots perform over time in general. Naturally, all the current chatbot templates are available for you to use (and customise) as well. There is also no limit to the number of chatbots you can create.
The Automation version allows a higher monthly limit for unique visitors served: you can choose a quota between 2k and 40k per month. On this level you also gain access to advanced chatbots analytics, allowing you to see detailed usage stats for every bot (including details about each element of every bot flow), which will help you improve your setup.
The Tidio+ version allows for a custom limit for unique visitors served per month, as well as direct assistance from a dedicated Customer Success Manager - to help you with optimal chatbot setups.
The Email Marketing tool allows you to compose and schedule email marketing campaigns targeted to your Tidio contacts, and this package lets you focus on this functionality. We offer three levels here:
- Email Marketing
The Free version allows you to send 500 email campaigns per month. You are free to use the advanced visual email builder, as well as take advantage of contact list segmentation, numerous email templates, and connecting your own domain for sending emails.
The Email Marketing version gets you a higher monthly quota for campaigns: from 2.5k to 20k per month, depending on what you need.
The Tidio+ version allows you to select a custom monthly limit that is appropriate for your needs, and comes with direct assistance from a dedicated Customer Success Manager.
Each of the four packages described above start out as free, and they can stay that way as long as you like. You decide when (and if) you upgrade a specific package or any number of plans.
This allows you a lot of flexibility with Tidio features, and you can use Tidio's basic functionalities free of charge if they are all you need!
Legacy packages (older, existing subscriptions)
For a number of users who have been subscribed to Tidio for some time, there are still legacy plans available. If you are one of those users, there are five packages on offer:
When should I choose the Communicator plan?
Would you like to keep in touch with your customers and personally reply to their questions and messages? The Communicator plan is the right choice for you!
The Communicator plan gives you access to our premium features that can help you manage communication with your customers more efficiently. Subscribing to the Communicator plan gives you access to the following:
- Live Typing
- the live Visitors list
- the Viewed Pages history
- Adding more operators
- Visitor Notes
- Operator Permissions
- Operator Departments
- Shopify-exclusive actions
And the best is that you can chat with your customers as much as you want, as it comes with unlimited conversations!
The price for the Communicator plan starts at $25 per operator a month and is calculated based on the number of operators. That means the price will vary based on the number of operators you have added to your Tidio account.
When should I choose the Chatbots plan?
If you want to apply a more hands-off approach and let the automation handle your work for you, the Chatbots plan is the one for you!
With the Chatbots plan, you get all the features on the free plan, and your automation limit (Chatbots monthly limit) is no longer limited to 100 actions per month. You can purchase up to 40,000 triggers which means you can engage with up to 40,000 unique website visitors on your website each month!
Chatbots plan also comes with numerous premium chatbot templates that you can customize to your needs!

When should I choose the Starter plan?
If your business is small and just starting, but you believe in the power of chatbots and live chat communication, you can choose our Starter plan, which gives you access to selected features of our premium plans.
With the starter plan, you'll get the following:

When should I choose the Free plan?
If you are just starting with your business and do not expect to have a lot of visitors, live chat conversations, or customer inquiries that can be automated, you can choose the Free Plan as your baseline. You do not need to pay for it, and we do not ask you to provide any payment details to the system.
With the Free Plan, you can add up to 3 operators (you, the owner included), conduct up to 50 live chat conversations monthly with visitors that ask you some questions, you can automate up to 100 chatbots responses, have access to third-party-app integrations, connect your Facebook Messenger and Instagram accounts, and you can download our desktop and mobile widget to handle conversations on the go.
