Our most requested feature is here! Fully automate your chatbots by disabling the Text Input when your website visitors interact with the bots.
How Disable Text Input works
Disable Text Input lets you fully automate chatbots and their scenarios. Now you have complete control over who can type to your Customer Support team and who should use self-service options. It's a whole new way to use Tidio.
In your Chatbots Visual Editor, you'll see two new actions:
Disable Text Input node
When you add this node, your visitors won't be able to type anything in the chat while a chatbot is running.
Enable Text Input node
When you add this node, you will allow visitors to type while a chatbot is running.
How to Use Disable Text Input
To use the Disable Text Input option, head to the Chatbots Visual Editor, open the Actions tab, and find the Disable Text Input action.
Move the Disable Text Input action onto the chatbot's map and place it after the trigger and before the rest of the bot's flow.
The possibility to type will be disabled until you enable it again using the Enable text Input node or until the chatbot ends the current flow.
